With over 33 years of movement experience and two decades as an educator, Tia Jaxx is a master of blending technique with raw artistry. Professionally trained from childhood and later immersed in the worlds of burlesque, club, and pole, Tia focuses on empowering students to embrace authenticity. Known for her motto, “mistakes are the mother of creation,” she specializes in stripping away the pressure of perfection to help dancers of all levels unlock their true, expressive power.
12:00pm | Sensual Floor Flow
Focusing on the fluid transition between the air and the ground, this class explores low-flow movement, edge work, and transitions. You will learn to use the floor as a partner, emphasizing smooth sequences and body awareness to create a seamless, hypnotic flow. Knee pads recommended.
1:30pm | Sensual Chair
Transform a simple chair into a prop for storytelling and lines. This session covers the foundations of chair dance, including grips, mounts, and stylized choreography that balances strength with sultry, deliberate movement.
